Hello, I've got  problem with my bluetooth connection. When I want to listen to Spotify or YouTube on my Aspire One Cloudbook 11 AO1-131, while using my JBL E55BT headphone the sound stammers. It also happens when I use my JBL Flip 4 Speaker. When I use those devices on my smartphone they work well. They also function okay when they are wired to the Cloudbook. When I try to listen to a song that is downloaded to my Cloudbook, the problem is still there. Anyone an idea?? Thanks for your reply,...Emit Remmus, the Netherlands

I'm thinking it's not a Bluetooth issue per se, instead there's something using enough resources on your Cloudbook to interrupt the stream going out the Bluetooth. See if Task Manager or Resource Manager can give you any insight into what's running in the background.

Hi billsey, thanks for your reply. I've opened Task Manager and found out that there are two items that are using quit a lot of 'processor capacity'. (sorry for my 'not so perfect' English). That's Windows Defender (about 40%) and Spotify itself. When Spotify runs, the total of the processor use is around 90% or even higher. It fluctuates. But even when, every now and then, the total gets lower....the bluetooth connection stays bad.

So I'm thinking Defender is doing a scan in the background, and that's what causing the stuttering. Once Defender gets done with it's scan it should go back to normal use. Defender tries to scan during off hours, but if the machine is shut down it'll start the scan when you next log in. On my system right now Windows Defender has two tasks with a total memory usage of 6MB and 0% CPU use.

Hello billsey, I'm going to try to shut Defender off (for a short while) and see what happens then....fingers crossed. Let you know later today. Thanks for now!
