Hi!

I'm planning on upgrading my GPU in my Acer Aspire TC-705.
Going from a 750 to an Asus Phoenix 1050.
My only concern is if the GPU is too wide.
On Asus' website, they claim that the GPU is 7.6 " x 4.4 " x 1.5 " inches.
https://www.asus.com/dk/Graphics-Cards/PH-GTX1050-2G/specifications/
And on Acers website, they claim that the TC-705 is only
6.89" x 16.29" x 14.98"

I've read on other forums that the 1050 would fit in the case.
Is this true?

The TC-705 can handle a dual-slot width card so width isn't the problem.

The minor problem you'll be facing is the max length of graphics card the mainboard can handle is about 6.7 inches (171 mm).  If you get a graphics card that is longer than 6.7 inches, you'll have to either..............

    A.  Unplug the USB 3.0 cable on the mainboard  (which means the front USB 3 ports will no longer work)

    or

    B. Use the low profile cable workaround in link below
