I have some GT730M boards for V3-571G, the boards are NB.M7D11.001

Some of these boards boot with the model named V3-571G, as expected.
Some of these boards boot with the model named Q5WV1, not as expected, but this is the board/schematic name.

1) Why do some boot as V3-571G, as expected, and as I would like, for all, while others boot with Q5WV1?
2) Is there a means to change the boot model to V3-571G?

Acer.com support lists:

BIOS - UEFI for Windows 8 (Not for Upgrades) Update F2 function for the scenario...
Date: 2014/01/27  Version: 2.21

BIOS - UEFI for Windows 8 (Not for Upgrades)
Date: 2013/10/18 Version: 2.17

BIOS
Date: 2012/10/22 Version: 1.13

skipping my version 2.19 on one of the boards that boots with Q5WV1

Thanks for any information on changing displayed model name.

I'm gonna guess the Q5WV1 is a generic codename for Insyde BIOS or UEFI bootstrapper firmwares compatible with several V3 or other series models. For example, the 571G & the 531G. I'm gonna further guess the name can probably be easily changed to display any desired model name. But I can't tell you how because I'm not an Insyder. :) Jack E/NJ
