Cloudbook 11 A01-131-C9RK Drivers unavailable!

Factory Windows 10 got corrupted and could not boot, could not access restore partition.
Downloaded a clean copy of Windows 10 x64 from Microsoft and did a clean installation.
This went well, except for a few missing drivers. Went to the Acer support site and found MOST drivers.
The site also instructed me to let Windows 10 find any missing drivers.
Well, am now on WIndows 10 build 1803, 2018-05 and STILL missing a bunch of drivers.
Device Manager show the following with the yellow error exclamation mark:
PCI Device
PCI Simple Communications Controller
System DMA Controller
System DMA Controller
Yes, DMA Controller twice.
The Mouse Pad is not responsive (probably a DMA issue).
Where can I get these drivers? As stated above, they are not on the Acer support website nor does (in spite of Acer's claim) Windows Update find them!
Help would be greatly appreciated...

Well at this point I can only tell you what I'd do if was my machine and all aforementioned suggestions didn't work.

I'd first reluctantly download and try to install all the ACER drivers that I'd ***guess*** might be related to actual device issues that I was having and/or all the troubling red and yellow Device Mgr driver warnings that I'm seeing. Drivers like for the chipset, serial io and touchpad. If this fixed the actual device issues, but maybe not remove all the warnings, that's as far as I'd go as long as the warnings didn't seem to be affect my use of the machine. If it didn't fix actual problems like with the touchpad, I'd probably try to work around it with a mouse cuz I hate touchpads anyway. However, if all this failed and the machine was just plain flat useless to me as is, I'd probably moan, groan & grumble, then fork over another $46 for a factory reset stick, enable system protection to temporarily hold back another Win10 update mess, and anxiously await ACER to wipe up Microsoft's mess. Well, finally solved THE ACER PROBLEM (CAPS intended). A friend of mine had another A01-131 and, using his unit, I created a RECOVERY USB drive.
With that one I was able to rebuild the little cloudbook! (Initially copied the driver folder from the other laptop, but the drivers could not be found)
As for ACER SUPPORT (no insult intended to you, JackE) in this case is TERRIBLE!
I have been recommended Acer to my clients for YEARS. NO MORE!

Glad you found another identical machine to make a recovery usb. But it's actually a silver lining---recommending to your clients that they get the same machine as you got!

Guess you have a point there, but for Acer to NOT provide the necessary drivers and then lying about it ('Windows Update will provide necessary updates' - NOT) is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.
Off my soap box, sure you are tired of me by now...

Yes, this is correct. I also expected Microsoft would indeed provide the updated drivers when the Win10 updates were automatically applied to my HP. But Microsoft didn't. And it is unacceptable. Guess who I blame. Jack E/NJ

Yes, BUT, having worked with HP, Dell and Lenovo for years, they always had working drivers available on their web sites.
Acer NOT. That is an important difference.

Me too. But not any more with many newer factory-installed Win10 machines. The new & unimproved Microsoft Win10 life-cycle policies are quite unlike all previous versions! https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/13853/windows-lifecycle-fact-sheet That's why I've installed Linux Mint GUIs on both my newer laptops to regain control over the driver mess created by these rapid-fire major Win10 updates with very limited time maintenance support. And also why I didn't downgrade any of my older Win7 and Win8.1 machines in which maintenance support will continue at least to 2020 and 2023 respectively. Jack E/NJ

Interesting observation. Frankly, Acer is the only outfit that I have run into Windows 10 driver issues with. Older (some 10 years+ old) laptops (Lenovo, Toshiba, HP and Dell) that meets the Win10 hardware specifications have been fine. Mint/Ubuntu is a great option, but not for everyone. Another interesting option is a Chromebook, have a couple of those and they are superb. Thanks for your thoughts. Bjorn/SRQ/FL

Unless there is a hardware issue with the hidden partition on eMMC drive, this recovery method should work if the ALT+F10 combo is executed fast enough because solid state drive is a lot faster than an HDD or hybrid HDD. The machine must be in a completely off state by pressing and holding the power button for 5 or more seconds. Then turned back on and ****immediately**** press and hold the ALT key while tapping the F10 key --- don't wait for the ACER logo to appear because by then it's too late. If the recovery screen still fails to appear, then the eMMC has likely failed and thus using the ACER recovery USB or DVD media likely won't fix it either. Jack E/NJ

Did you ever get an answer to this issue? I am suffering from the same missing drivers. As far as the touchpad it seems you need to have it set to basic in the BIOS. When it is set to advanced the touchpad does not work. I need the PCI driver and the system DMA controller.

@seanlove You can try the ALT+F10 coldboot reset as shown below if the hidden recovery partition is still intact. If not, the only other option seems to be the ACER recovery USB based on your machine's serial no. id(SNID) https://store.acer.com/en-us/extended/recovery/ about $46. Jack E/NJ

Don't have the drivers, had to create a RECOVERY USB off a friend's CB, slightly over 5GB in size. Seems to me you'd be better off by just paying Acer the $45 for a bootable USB drive (the little dear does not support booting from SD Card...
