Is the D drive on the same physical hard drive as your main drive (C or other drives)? If yes, the answer is Yes.
However, you need to turn to some third-party partition manager to complete the task. My recommendation is AOMEI Partition Assistant Standard (free). Tiny and easy-to-use. For detailed steps, you may refer to how to extend C drive from D drive. That's the way I manage my hard drive as well.

Hi, if partition C and partition D are on the same disk, you can take free space on partition D to extend partition C. Can you please take a screenshot of disk layout in Windows disk management?
However, if partition C and partition D are on 2 different disks, you may need to transfer some data out from partition C or migrate OS to a larger SSD.
