Hi guys!
I am planning to overclock my laptop display from 75 to 100Hz.
Any bad experience?
Will this reduce the life of my laptop monitor significantly?.

Thank you!

It will reduce the life of the monitor, because of more heat that it will produce, but not by much and it will still last very long. Some users managed to overclock it to 100Hz, but that doesn't mean that your monitor will overclock to 100Hz as well. If you get some weird artifacts or monitor blacks out at 100Hz, you have to reduce the frequency.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

Afaik the model I own (G9-793-78CM) can be overclocked to 100Hz.
But I am worried about how significantly the life of my laptop's screen will be reduced, and if its worth it.
