helios 300 reset problem

Hey folks,

I have an acer 300 helios that has a single language license. The OS was in spanish so I made a custom USB boot drive from the windows website to upgrade or change the language to English. Everything is fine but it removed all the acer stuff and i found some things a bit different. I attempted to do a pc reset today(alt+f10) and it installed again in english and without the acer tools or anything back to the original state of the machine. did I somehow modify the recovery partition and can't go back to original state? I even noticed on boot up there werent at updated and drivers etc were all up to date proving it was not the original machine.... i haven't found any other way of booting from the recovery other than alt f10. any idea what has happened here?

I should mention that disk management says the partition is 1GB and healthy
