Bought yesterday, plugged in today, all going well until dreaded Windows 10 update started. It was downloaded okay but then left it to get on with it and now monitor is showing Amber and power light is flashing. When monitor button is pressed it comes up with No Signal. I am not computer savvy so do not know what to do, any help appreciated.

Hi @Suznoknow you can try the below steps and test if the device starts up.

1 > Try hard shutdown your desktop and restart it. If you still experience the same message then try the steps below.
2 > Unplug the power cord and any external devices that are connected
3 > Press and hold the power button for 30-40 sec ( doing this it would erase static energy )
4 > re-connect the cables and turn on the unit.

If the issue still persist do the same steps for Monitor as well and then re-connect the cables.

I turned on my unit the lights came on no screen, the light are on  but the computers not home,xc 230 ? not even 12 months old only had it like three months,  END OF RANT. NOT HAPPY JAN

I'm not sure from your message if it's still in warranty. If you have had it three months than it should be. If you've had it over a year then it's likely out of warranty. Plugging your numbers into the support site will help with figuring that out. Have you tried power cycling the monitor? Some monitors take a bit of coaxing to get out of sleep mode, but a power cycle typically fixes that. It's also possible the computer itself is stuck in sleep mode. Press and hold the power button until it turns off, then wait a few seconds and turn it on normally.
