Alternatives to switch between inputs in et430k ?

Hi,

I've found OSD menu of the et430k irritatingly slow to use when you often need to switch between HDMI1 and DP. Big desktop computer display is nice and you can place it slightly farther away than traditional screens. I've it wall mounted and approx 70cm away from my eyes, using work-laptop and personal desktop computer in turns. For both the normal input switch and PIP feature controls with the back buttons are pretty tedious to use. Anyone with better practical solution, like remote control ? Am I overlooking some feature that makes it more solid ?

...and please don't bother to suggest display cable splitters or remote desktop. I'm expecting the display itself to have something for this.

BR,

I've been looking for a solution to this as well. Have you found anything that works since you posted this?

Nope - no solution, sorry. Haven't spent time to investigate further. From power down the input auto search works decently, but with multiple inputs active at the same time the back buttons seem to be the only option.

Check out NirSoft's "ControlMyMonitor" -- see https://johnstonsoftwaresolutions.com/2019/02/09/tip-switch-monitor-inputs-with-command-line/ -- works on my ET430k.  I don't know about PIP, but it definitely lets you change the input.  Put the settings you want as command-line switches in a desktop shortcut and you can just double-click to change the input.
