Dear all,

When I am charging my Acer Aspire 5, I hear sounds of electricity, also when I put my headphones on, there is a hissing noise. But when I unplug the charger the sound goes away.  Is there any way to fix this? Or should I bring my laptop to repair?

Especially at evening, the sound is really disturbing.

Thank you for your help!

This is due to AC mains hum that is leaking thru the charger, not the laptop. The charger probably needs to be replaced. Jack E/NJ
