Where can I buy a new powercord for my Acer Aspire Laptop

I own a Acer Aspire Latop E14  E5 - 411 - C3K3 Laptop.i have recently noticed that the powercord is showing the inner cables and is very near to the power adaptor ( the outer black cable has come away showing the wires). I have managed to cover the wires with a bit of thin cardboard and wrapped so electrical insulation tape around it as a temp measure.I am concerned about this because the inner wires might break and I wont be able to charge the laptop up.I have seen a video clip ( youtube ) where you can open up the power adaptor, cut the cable back and then rewire it again, but I am a bit nervous about doing this, just in case I do something wrong.Please can someone advice.
