I am looking to buy a new laptop and am comparing two Acers that seem pretty much identical, the A515-51G-59QF and the A515-51G-56V1. The only difference between the two is the 59QF comes with a 256GB SSD and the 56V1 has a 1Tb mechanical drive and is 100AUD cheaper.

My question is whether or not the 56V1 (with the mechanical drive) also has a port available on the motherboard to plug in an SSD from my old Acer. The same question has been asked on the forum for similar, but not identical, models and it seems like this is a viable option. However i contacted Acer support and asked them and they said that there was no SSD available on the A515-51G (no additional numbers quoted to differentiate the models even though i gave them to him), which is clearly wrong as many models do come with an SSD and other people seem to have successfull added an SSD to their mehanical drive models. So i don't think he really knew what i was asking.

Any help would be much appreciated!!
