So I have this laptop (Aspire SW3-013) and it isn’t detecting any WiFi connectivity. I tried restarting the laptop completely and it worked... until it didn’t. I don’t know why it’s not working but I am getting really annoyed and I want some help please. When it worked for like a day it was really slow. Now when I click the WiFi icon on the taskbar it doesn’t even tell me the nearby connections, it only says network settings. The laptop is also really slow overall but that’s not much of a problem. The trackpad doesn’t work sometimes either. Anyways, thanks for taking your time reading this and I hope I get an answer please.

    Hi,

Please try to re-install wireless drivers from device manager.

Press and hold windows + x, click on device manager , double tap on network adapters, right click on wireless adapter and uninstall ( do not check the box to delete driver software ). post this restart the unit and give it 10-15 sec this will re-install the drivers.

now check if the Wi-fi lists nearby networks.

If you do not see any wireless drivers in the device manager you can install these drivers from acer care center application.

Press Windows and type acer care center, click on restore, click on restore wireless drivers, this will get downloaded, now unzip the file by doing a right click on it and click on extract all. now look for setup.exe (application). double tap on it to install the drivers. post this restart the unit.
