Predator Helios 300 G3-572 Issues

First I bought a laptop with a GTX 1060 3GB and after using it for like a week I returned it and bought this one thinking it will perform better. I'm a competitive CSGO player and I also play PUBG so I easily notice performance issues when that's the case. I don't know why but the GPU is not performing properly , I get like 20 fps less than the other laptop and after some time I loose even more fps which I think is due to temperatures (even thought it doesn't go over 85 degrees Celsius which is good). I even get constantly under 60 fps in PUBG on low setings sometimes. CSGO also performs like 20-30% under expectations. Also the screen tearing is huge compared to the other laptop. I also want to say that I installed a new version of Win10 and I can't install the recommended version of Predator Sense. I assume either the benchmark test wasn't accurate and there is some issue with the GPU or I have no idea.  And yes , I have the latest nvidia drivers installed.

I had a potato for a computer and it ran CS:GO without hassles, your Predator should not show any lags. Can you open the task manager and see if there's a disk usage. If so, possibly, there's a Windows update or some other software causing the lag. Why don't you try the task manager. Also, I want to understand, you're maxing out CS:GO right?

No. I'm playing competitive , I run at lowest settings 4:3 to maximize fps. I checked task manager and the disk is fine. As I said , I don't understand why a this GPU which is better than the previous is performing like 20-30% worse and sometimes even worse. Also the screen tearing is terrible compared to the other laptop. There has to be something I'm missing

Well George, for the screen tearing, the answer probably will be V-Sync in the Nvidia control panel, but this is concerning.

I could ask you to look for thermal paste replacement but trust me m8, just send it for a replacement stating the same. The benchmark FPS is too slow for a Predator. Good luck!

Do you keep the laptop plugged in while gaming? It is too early to consider for a refund.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

Yes. I actually want to fix the problem somehow because I like how fast the ssd is and the amount of ram is exactly what I need. I'm trying to find a solution

Try installing the intel driver available here: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/support-product/7310?b=1. Before starting the installation in windows search type 'device installation settings' and press enter, then select no and save changes. If the issue still persists you can try earlier versions of the nvidia driver like 391.24, 391.01 or 390.77. It will be better if you DDU the drivers before installing them again.

From your first post you have mentioned that the temperatures are fine, so there is no throttling.
