Im having this serious problem with my predator and I have no clue what to do after searching the internet for solutions over and over again without success.
When Im playing some more requiring games the screen goes black/flashes with random colors until it jams after a while, and i hear some weird stutter noises from headphones. PC doesn't shut down but I have to restart it  in order to get it back up and running. After restarting it works normally but the same thing happens when ever i try to play something heavy.
Temperatures are aswell pretty good, other than the gtx 1070 being around 70 celsius but that shouldnt be the problem.
What can I do?

The temperature is normal, however I do not think that this problem is associated with the heat. The graphics card is acting out and nothing else. Can you try updating your graphics card and see if you can fix the issue m8?
    BElieve in YOUrself.

@Migus Did this happen suddenly for no apparent reason. Or are you using new games more heavily? Jack E/NJ

@RanY2J Yeah I dont think the heat is the problem either. What do you mean by updating the card? If you mean the latest drivers then yes I have them installed.

@JackE Well the thing is that I bought this computer from a friend and its only 8 months old and he only played games like League Of Legends and CSGO so it never occured to him, and it only occurs to me when I play more heavy games.

Thank you for your answers and sorry from my late reply.

What BIOS version do you have?

To find your current BIOS version......

    1. Right click on the Windows start button
    2. Left click on Run
    3. Type msinfo32
    4. Click ok

if you don't have the latest BIOS, then update to latest BIOS.

Note: R01.xx is only compatible with R01.xx
R02.xx is only compatible with R02.xx

Check to see if an automatic Win10update restore point was created immediately before the problem started. Jack E/NJ

There isnt one, only restore points after the problem. The PC was factory reseted when I bought it from my friend. The problem occured first time when I had installed everything and tried gaming.

How was the factory-reset done when you bought it? Was it done from inside or from outside Windows? Jack E/NJ

It was from inside I think. Just a fresh windows 10 installed.

OK. I think you should try two things if you haven't done so already. First (1) Completely shut off the system and  alternately vacuum the air intake port and blow air through the exhaust port a few times to dislodge any dust bunnies that might be inside even though the temperatures seem normal. If that doesn't resolve the issue, then (2) Completely shut off again, then turn the machine back on and ***immediately*** press and hold the ALT key while tapping the F10 key until the hidden recovery partition is activated. Follow directions for re-setting the machine to a factory fresh state as shown in the video below.  Jack E/NJ

@JackE I didnt want to reset the pc again and my friends doubt that the OS is at fault and there isnt much dust to clean. How ever I noticed that one of the external power bricks is pretty cold while the other one is pretty warm. Should it be like that? I was suspecting the power problem before I made this post and this kind of makes it more plausible.

What power bricks are connected? They are not too common when looking at a desktop. You can also fire up Device Manager and look for exclamation points. I clean install of Windows often leaves some drivers out that have to be added manually. That is why Jack is suggesting the factory defaults instead of a reset, it'll have the drivers included.

@billsey Yeah they arent common when it comes to desktops but this Acer Predator G1 710 uses two 230w laptop power adaptors.
There wasnt any exclamation points in Device Manager and I forgot to mention that I did uninstall the drivers with DDU and reinstall them but it didnt have an effect so I think they should be fine.

I think this is your answer. One is cold dead. Jack E/NJ

@JackE I guess ill get a new one, hopefully that fixes the problem. Where can I contact acer to get a new one? Its only 8 months old so would be nice to get it with warranty. But when it comes down to it I just want this thing to get working, costs or not.

@Migus Go here but have your machine's serial number id (SNID) ready. https://www.acer.com/ac/fi/FI/content/support

They want me to send my pc to their repair store which I don't really want to do since the problem is 99% likely in the power. Doesn't acer sell those anywhere? I only found them from like american ebay

The ACER part numbers are "KP.23001.001" for the Delta adapter and "KP.2300H.001" for the Chicony. Either should work OK.
You can probably get one from at European ACER store at this site http://store.acer.com/index.html   Or you could find distributors by googling the same numbers. Jack E/NJ

    Updates on this matter...

Bought new power brick but it didnt help, the old ones are working normally after gauging them.
I also installed windows again but kept my files. Is there a major difference with deleting files and not deleting them? Getting pretty desperate here.

After reinstalling windows the problem sometimes changes a bit since i can hear sounds normally from time to time for a while after the screen goes black. And sometimes I can even alt+f4 to close the game and pc returns to normal state. But the problem still occurs though.
