Acer EB321HQUA very slow to find active input

I've selected DVI as the input under monitor settings however if the system goes to sleep or tries to put the monitor to sleep it struggles to find the input again, it just cycles through all the sources and claims not to be able to find anything, I've had to reset the PC a few times as it was just taking too long.

I've disabled the monitor and PC going to sleep, however again if I turn the monitor off and on again it sits there for about 2-3 minutes just cycling through modes.

Whatever method it's using the detect the input is not working correctly, is there anything in settings stop this behavior?

Please try to re-install the Monitor drivers from device manager.

Thanks but that didn't make any difference, I even tried the display driver from the Acer website.

I don't think it's a driver issue, it's the monitor, or monitor software that's the issue imo.

I've been looking online and this seems to be a general issue with a lot of Acer monitors, or more of a design flaw.

I did see someone mention disabling the autoscan feature but I'm not sure this monitor has that option sadly.
