problem in starting up windows 10

when i press the power button,the screen opens.it contains time and when i click it again it should have to show a sing in button.but it shows a blank screen with mere backgroud.so i'm being stranded to enter the laptop.pls help me asap

Hi,

This could be a normal situation. Try the below steps to fix the issue.

Perform power drain. 
1. unplug power source
2. (Non-removal battery) flip the computer upside down and look for a tiny pinhole with battery symbol next to it. If your device is (battery removal) then please remove the battery and continue
3. grab paper clip and insert it into this pinhole.
4. Now press and hold the paper clip for 30-40 sec
5. turn on the computer and check if any changes.. do let us know if the issue is resolved or not
