Apps starting automatically, despite autostart being disabled

Hello Acer friends :)

My new Aspire A517-51G insists on autostarting apps for which I have disabled autostart. For example: for Slack, I have disabled autostart. This goes well for a while, and after a few days, like magic, the app sets itself back to 'launch upon start'. I realise this may be a Slack issue, however, Spotify is now also starting automatically, even though in the settings, I have disabled autostart, and since this morning, MSWord also automatically opens a blank word page when I start the laptop, even though I am not allowing autostart. >In task manager, both Slack and Spotify are listed as 'autostart not allowed', yet they're starting automatically. Word is not even listed there, but randomly starts anyway. So I'm wondering if there's a general setting somewhere that I am overlooking? I have just run a virus scan, which came up clean, deleted all temporary files etc. and double checked autostart settings. All seems well, but the apps launch anyway. Any ideas anyone?

Cheers!

It doesn't seem possible to edit or delete a forum post :/
The problem with Spotify is a well-known bug in Spotify and the problem with Word autostarting probably stems from an update issue.
