Hello
While using my Iconia one 7 tablet the screen just turns off requiring me to press the power button to turn it back on, it has been doing this for about a 2 weeks maybe.
I don't like having to rush to click the power button in case it takes me to the lock screen where I reenter my password to discover that my game or application has to restart.
There have not been any changes in software or hardware.
Please help
🤔🤔🤔🤔

    Hi!
On Android devices, the screen automatically turns off after a set idle period to save battery power. If your Android device's screen turns off faster than you like, you can increase the time it will take to timeout when idle.

    1. Press the "Menu" button and tap "Settings." If you don't see "Settings," tap "More" first.
    2. Touch "Screen" or "Display." Different versions of the firmware use different names for this menu.
    3. Tap "Timeout" or "Screen Timeout."
    4. Select a longer time period in the pop-up menu that appears. The change takes place immediately.

    Hi,
Is your tablet goes off while your working on it or when its ideal.

*If its off when your working on it try to do a factory reset on the unit. ->steps below.
    1. Power off your Tablet.
    2. Press and hold Volume up and Power button at the same time until you boot into the Android system recovery. ...
    3. Choose Wipe data/Factory Reset with your volume keys and then press the power button to confirm.

*If its off when your ideal, then its just the lock screen or sleep timing. you just need to adjust the timing for lockscreen or sleep on the settings.
    Accept if its Helpful.   B)

I don't feel to keen on doing a whole factory reset, would this be the only way or is there something else I could do before.
If it helps it mostly happens when loading but it does not get idle.

I absolutely agree with you on not performing factory reset. Lets try something to understand the root cause of your issue.

    1. please tell us the name of game or app that you are trying to load.
    2. Share us the RAM being used in your device ( go to settings > check for option Memory > click on it to see the free space )

Note: Most of the android device restart as the device would not have enough free space available. this could lead the device to turn off when any heavy app or game is being launched.
