Why is my acer aspire e5 575g-54ly freezing while playing games?

My laptop randomly freezes while playing games and it disconnects my bluetooth controller for a bit at the same time? It also seems to disable usb devices ... after it freezes the laptop keyboard seems to work fine,the windows button takes me to the start menu,but the cursor dissapears and when i try to use the mouse,like click the laptop just does a *boop* sound,all other sound continue to play in the background,like music or the game sounds but the screen freezes and the mouse cursor dissapears.Thanks for the answers in advance,help is appreciated

I had come across similar issue. While there might be a few options to fix the issue, they all prove to be temporary. 

I would recommend installing 'nvidia Inspector'. It's small app that provides you with 'information on tools for GPU and memory clock speed, GPU operating voltage and fan speed increase' using which you can control them. 

But also try the following:
1) Go to the Geforce control panel
2) 3D settings
3) Manually route everything to use the Nvidia, instead of using the Generic Setting.

Then restart the system and try playing your PC games.
