Hello guyz. I have an Aspire 4349 but I haven't used the Bluetooth service since I bought it 4 years ago. The back cover says I have an AR5BBU22 Bluetooth module. I have tried installing several drivers but i havent been succesfull. Someone please advice on how I can go about it/

Do you get any errror messages when you try to activate the bluetooth device?
Are you using the same windows OS shipped with your laptop?

Press and hold down the Fn key and tap the F3 key twice to enable the bluetooth device.
If any issue persists, download and install the Atheros bluetooth driver  Download

Hello Sharanji, I changed my OS to windows seven ultimate. I don't get any error when trying to turn on the Bluetooth. I am not even sure i have a Bluetooth hardware on the computer. I have tried installing the software you recommended but i still cant turn it on.

Thank you for your response. Are you able to use the Fn key to perform other functions like changing brightness, adjusting the volume, enable wifi etc..
Try reinstalling the Launch manager application if you are using the same factory shipped windows. Download

Hi! the Fn key can do other functions. I installed the launch manager and I can now see the Fn tasks on my screen such as when I press Fn+f3 i can see the wifi turning on and off. But I cannot see anything concerning Bluetooth.
