How to switch my Acer Aspire ES1-533 to accepting 5GHz connections?

I have a new router, a EE-Hub router and it supports both 5GHz and the usual 2.4GHz. My old router was also an EE Router but it had 2 different signal connections, separate 2.4 and 5GHz connections.

My Laptop seems to favour the 2.4GHz connection and wont connect to the 5GHz one, and I want to know how to do it manually.
I found out that this is possible through the Device Manager, by going onto your adaptor and making it accept 5GHz connections, but I see no way to do this manually. It only gives 2 Options, "Auto" and "20MHz Only", and I'm assuming that the second option isn't the one I'm looking for, without attempting it and breaking something.

So I wanted to ask, is there no way to make it take the 5GHz option? On my router's online menu I can see it's connected to the 2.4 one, the one that is not as good.

Any help?

Thanks in advance.

Are you sure you're looking at the Intel or Atheros WiFi adapter in DeviceMgr? Jack E/NJ
