Repairing or Replacing Trackpad Parts?

Hi all,
I've had a Predator 15 G9-591 for a few years now, and lately I noticed the right trackpad mouse button wasn't properly clicking. I opened it up and discovered the little clear rubber part that pushes the trackpad button up is falling apart. Whenever the right mouse button is clicked, the rubber part is supposed to push it back up again. However, the rubber part that makes contact with the button has been slightly ripped between the top and bottom so that the top part tends to get stuck in the bottom part, leaving the right mouse button unable to click back up again. I've done some searching but I can't seem to find a replacement for this part anywhere or any ways to fix it. Does anyone know how to fix this? Apologies for the poor lighting in the photos.
Thanks,
- Mitch

Seems like a small piece of window insulation foam rubber from HomeDepot or Lowes could do the job. Jack E/NJ
