For some reason I changed my windows product key. Now I want to change it back to the original one.
Is there a way to get the original windows product key which installed by acer guys?
I have tried Reset PC(without cleaning the files). But no luck. Can anyone help me? BTW I have predator helios 300.

    Hi

The product key is built-in into your computer hardware and should be automatically activated when you restore the same OEM version of windows on your computer. You can also get the USB recovery media from Acer store to restore your computer.

Can you please explain what is "restore the same OEM version of windows on your computer" means. I have changed the product key, before that I did not create the recovery media(I know my bad :()

So youve installed a different type of windows and want to revert back to Acers custom OS?

I do hope it has nothing to do with cracked software.

In any case you can purchase a eRecovery pen drive from Acer that is specific to your laptop and provided the original OS with its product key.

The 'OEM version of windows' is created/edited by the manufacturer(Acer) and it contains the OEM programs like Predator Sense, Acer Care Centre, Quick access application, the predator wallpaper etc. Even if you reset the PC to factory settings, this OEM software will install together with windows, which means that on a generic copy of windows these programs won't be there. If you haven't re-installed windows after changing the product key  I believe, that if you create a recovery drive now, the OEM software will be saved there, because you are still running the  OEM version of windows.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
