Shutting down a frozen Acer R11? I'm looking for straight forward solution

Hi, I just bought a new Acer R11 a couple of days ago. I logged on, did emails, work on future learn..had one google update and closed with 7 pages open to resume late but it's frozen on me and with no power button I don't know how to shutdown.. as with my old one (which I am writing from). I've tried a few suggestions from one site which said to hold down lock button for 10 secs and/or lock button plus ctrl, and lock button plus ctrl and alt... none of these worked.. I had previously tried the launch button to see if it would bring up options.. but nothing there either.. now other than leaving to run out of power I'm feeling stuck as to what else to do at the moment.. 2 page set-up leaflet does not mention anything to help in this situation...  hence I'm looking for appropriate advise here, for a comparatively quick and straight forward solution... now feeling flummaxed by this problem as have only used it for relatively few hours.

Press and hold down the power button for 10 seconds and the Chromebook should shutdown.  The power button could be located at the upper-right
corner of the keyboard. You can also check for the power button at the right side near the Headset/speaker jack.

You can also try pushing the restart button (the little circular arrow, 3-4 keys) and the power button at the same time, and it should restart your Chromebook.

Thanks for replying Sharanji.. but the Acer R11 does not have a 'power' button.. the upper right-hand corner has a 'lock' button.. above shift on the left-hand side is a launch button and that's it. And there is power button on either the left nor right sides of book. The circular arrow restart/refresh.. I've tried that also... but you are the first and only one to respond as yet, so I really do appreciate the effort.

Opps.. I stand corrected.. after your post SharanjI decided to recheck.. what I mistook as a cover for a port on the right-hand side is in fact the power button. Pressing to check.. all I had to do was hold long enough... "HORRAY" and "thank you".. and at the risk of sounding silly/stupid..as it is new and unfamiliar I've been feeling less than confident with it.. almost afraid to touch anything in case I messed it up. In fact checking the leaflet again now it's clear that the power button is there right-hand side and that I have already switched on the power button to start.. but to be honest I have been very ill this last few days and it's clear to me now that I was more ill than I had thought.. so "thank you" again for helping me to recover from a faltering start.

Please help with the full model number of your Chromebook.
You can also check for the power button at the right side near the Headset/speaker jack.

The  button labelled 2 is the power button.

Same problem - resolved. Fortunately I found this answer prior to logging in. I was unable to get this response on the community website.
