Hi Guys,

My Aspire X3950 Desktop running Windows 10 Home (64-bit) is connected to my HP LaserJet M1132 Multi-Function Printer (MFP). The Windows 10 Administrator has blocked the Scanner app on my HP MFP from running because of an Unknown Publisher Certificate. The error message is shown here:

I've been waiting forever to speak with someone on Live Chat & I'm still waiting.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to overcome this?

Hope to hear from you soon.

Thank you,
TightFit

In Windows 10, the hidden built-in Administrator account available and that account blocked .exe file to run. So first of all, you need to enable the hidden administrator account.
Right click on Windows logo and open Command Prompt (Admin).
Now type “net user administrator /active:yes” and press enter. You will see the successful message.
Sign Out. Then find the “Administrator” account on the bottom left.
Now click and sign in on Administrator account. It’s takes time to setting up apps.
Then find your Software or .exe that you want to install.

Check if error is gone. The software or .exe also available on your own Administrator account too, so don’t worry about it. After installing your software, now sign out from Administrator account and sign-in again to your Original Account.  Now check out the software or app that was installed on “hidden Administrator” account.

Now it’s time to Disable Hidden Administrator Account. Open Command prompt (Admin) and type below command,
    net user administrator /active:no
