My Acer Predator 15 G9-593 gets way too hot. How can mitigate this?

So, I have an Acer predator 15 model G9-593 and it gets hot. Very hot. I used intel's XTU to monitor JUST how hot it has been getting and i did not like the results. Apparently, in a well ventilated room on a cool flat hard surfaced desk, this thing was reaching temperatures of up to 98 degrees Celsius for extended periods of time during even modest gaming in things like Minecraft and moderately demanding modern games as well. The GPU (GTX1070 mobile) is not fairing nearly as poorly, in response to these temperatures, as the poor CPU. The I7-7700HQ INSTANTLY throttles itself the MOMENT any, even slightly demanding, task is presented to it. I looked into the issue and found that 7th gen Kaby Lake processors just tend to run hot...but 98 degrees? Really? I don't believe sending the unit into Acer would solve the issue because this is apparently a very common problem within their predator line of laptops. I went out and purchased a 5 fan cooling pad AND undervolted the CPU to the minimum stable voltage i could possible achieve...and, while the effects have been more than expected, and most games now operate within the temperature threshold that i would consider...acceptable...certain, more CPU intensive, games still drive the temperatures into the 90s. I really enjoy this computer and want it to last as long as possible. So i was wondering if it was at all possible for me to replace the atrocious thermal paste without voiding the warranty. I REALLY hope that there is. I have seen incredible performance and temperature improvements in these machines when the thermal paste is replaced! I, however, believe I may already know the answer to my question XD. It doesn't hurt to ask tho.
Thank you.

It depends on 2 things whether repasting will void the warranty. 1. If there are warranty stickers on the screws holding the heatsink, preventing you from getting access to the CPU, removing them will definitely void the warranty. 2.(if the are no warranty stickers) What kind of thermal paste you want use? - You should avoid liquid metal thermal pastes and any other electrical conductive pastes or pastes that may scratch the CPU die or the heatink. That is why I recommend you to use Acrtic MX-4.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

I really hope it ends up being possible to do so without voiding the warranty. It seems unfair that they would ship the machines with this issue of poorly applied and poor quality thermal paste and then restrict the users from fixing the issue unpunished. I just want the machine to last is all and, when i'm pushing the thing to its limits with max settings and whatnot, it scares me sometimes with those thermal readings. Thank you for the suggestion of the Arctic paste; i have heard great results from their products.

and this laptop is very easy to open probably takes 30 min in total(for beginners like me) to open and repaste...and its better to do as soon as possible
