Acer Hing Issue

Recently when I opened my computer the plastic that holds the screen began peeling away from the screen.
It looks like there is a crack on that side of the hinge, I have not had this computer very long and am careful with it.
I just leave it open now, because I am afraid it will cause further damage.
I looked and found this thread...I am experiencing the exact same issue as reported by other customers.

Please advise me as how to have this fixed.
Thank you,
Joy Wilson

im having the exact same problem but im a student and i dont have £200 to spend on a problem which is clearly not a one off situation as various other users are having the same issue so it must be something faulty to do with the laptop
