Hello. I am having so much trouble with the wifi on my laptop. Every device around me has good connection but mine is bad. I have tried reinstalling the drivers and I'll have a good connection for a couple of minutes. Then it'll drop back down to one bar when I just had full connection moments ago.
I know I'm not the only one since I've found many threads complaining about this particular WiFi card (Qualcomm Atheros QCA61X4A).
Do you have any advice for me?

Tune in and feel free to chime in on this thread. Similar issue with the same card. No firm solution yet. https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/comment/562942/#Comment_562942   Jack E/NJ

Try this step >>go to Control Panel from the start menu and click on “System and Security”.
Then, click on “Power Options” and then click on “change plan settings” next to your selected plan.
In the next screen, click on “Change advanced power settings” and Power Options should open up. Here, click on “Wireless Adaptor Settings” and set it to “Maximum Performance”.

Also, check the current version of BIOS installed on your computer. The latest BIOS version for this model is 1.12.

    Please post back the result.
