I have enabled DISABLED TURBO & ENABLED SPEEDSHIFT. I have a question, what does speedshift do?

    You don't need to enable speedshift. Enabling speedshift locks the CPU's power state. You can set a value between 0 and 255, which decides whether the CPU runs between maxium power saving and maxium performance. When speedshift is disabled on throttlestop, it is automatically managed by windows depending on the power plan you have chosen. Enabling speedshift allows you to control the CPU's performance level manually.
    Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

    Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
