After years of being away from PC gaming I was excited to get my laptop on March 20.  Everything worked fine until I attempted to play game on it.  It's a gaming laptop so this is a serious problem.  Anyway, between 30 seconds to 5 minutes of loading a game my laptop would crash.  Typically, at first it would simply crash back to windows but after attempting the various troubleshooting steps on the support site I found that my laptop got worse.  Now it would even crash when I was browsing the web to search for support documents.  Furthermore, the system would even blue screen crash.

I've tried the following things.  Clean reinstall drivers, re-install software, updating drivers, updating Windows, updating BIOS to 1.07, factory resetting the laptop (twice).  Again it seems as if the problem is getting worse.  Yesterday on the 27th I got fed up after speaking with some 3rd party customer support that ACER sent me to that I requested for an RMA to I could simply return the laptop.  Since yesterday I left two voice messages and one e-mail and still have not heard back.  If someone knows whats going on I'd like the laptop fixed but the way customer support is going right now I'm inclined to simply return the thing and call it the last ACER product I own.

Sorry for the whiny message but this is an expensive machine and I'm not finding any solutions.  Any suggestions?

You may have a defective hard drive / SSD. That's exactly what it sounds like to me, based on all the steps you have performed.

I saw in one case, it was the processor that was defective, but that was a desktop.
