Hello, dear members of this community!

I am a happy (so far) new owner of a PT715-51.
I never play games, but —believe me!— I will benefit in other ways of my laptop's specs.
First of all, I need to give up on RAID0 configuration, so if any of you knows where I should start from, please post some links here, as the basic input-output settings doesn't seem to offer many options for this. :)

Thank you!
See you around!  ;)

The easiest way to break the RAID 0 array is by removing one of the SSDs and then installing windows on one of them, then mounting the SSD back. Just make sure that you create a windows recovery media before doing this, so you can install windows. Removing raid 0 deletes the data from both drives.

Here is a previous thread with more detailed info:https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/538010/triton-700-upgrade-from-2x256gb-raid-0-to-a-single-512gb-samsung-evo-pro

Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

    Wouldn't this void the warranty?
    There must some other ways.
I can't actually believe ACER decided the configuration instead of just letting users choose whatever they prefer.
I am quite sure those who use RAID configurations also know how to set 'em themselves... :)

Opening the laptop and removing the SSDs won't void the warranty unless there are void stickers preventing you from removing the SSDs.

There are previous threads discussing about removing the RAID 0 array, but I am not sure if a solution was found. You might be able to find them by using the integrated search.

    Appreciate your suggestions, ven98.
I actually did find a few more topics about disabling RAID0...
