Make sure you have enough airflow comming underneath the laptop. You can use a cooling pad with fans, a passive cooling pad will also do the work. The space between the laptop and the surface it is resting on isn't just enough and more than half of the air that is sucked in is already hot. Instead of a passive cooling pad you can use books or some other objects(make sure the books don't block the vents). Make sure that you run the fans at max speed(can be enabled from predator sense), which will reduce the temperature even further. Even after doing this the GPU temperature still is above 83C, then most likely the problem is in the thermal paste and you need to either repaste the CPU and GPU by yourself(not recommended as it voids the warranty) or contact Acer and send your laptop for repair.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
