My situation is that I accidentally inserted the headphones jack into the USB port (they are close) so hard, that laptop froze. I turned it off, but now it does not start. Indicators work, heat sink works, that USB port also works. But monitor is black (I don't think it's broken - when laptop froze, monitor worked). What is wrong? Thanks

Press & hold the power button for about 5 seconds so the machine is completely off. Then turn it back on. Jack E/NJ

Well, it's already off. When I turn it back on, BIOS does not run. But all indicators work

    Hi,
Remove the battery, press power button for about 30 seconds, leave the laptop to rest for 15 mins, insert the battery and reconnect the AC adapter, then try starting.

If you are covered by warranty, get it fixed by Acer support centre in your region, if you are out of warranty, take it to a local repair shop and get it fixed.

Try turning the screen on with the Fn+F6 and Fn+F5 toggle key combinations. If still no joy, try HDMI out to a TV. Try to turn the TV on with the toggle key combos. Jack E/NJ

    Hi,
Do you see at least the acer logo coming up.
Try checking if you can go to BIOS. Turn on the computer and keep tapping F2. If it goes to BIOS, do F9,Enter,F10, Enter. This will restart computer and display should come back.
