I've bought this laptop last sept but I've only use it a couple of times. The thing is i am really frustrated on the amount of time it needed to startup plus most of the apps I'm using will eventually become not responding. Even the task manager will then freeze. What should I do?

What is the base Operating System running in your system?
We'll need to do a general troubleshooting to see if we can identify and resolve the problem.

Please try the below mentioned steps :
    >>>To disable all the other programs and 'helpers' apps that start with Windows, press Windows+R, type msconfig and click Ok. Select the Services tab, tick ‘Hide all Microsoft services' and see what's left.

    >>>On the Startup tab (use Task Manager - right-click on the taskbar and choose Task Manager in Windows 8 and Windows 10 to find this) are lots of programs that start with Windows.

    >>>Adjust virtual memory settings >>Open the Start Menu, select Settings, then type Performance. Now choose Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows>Advanced>Change, check at the bottom of the Window what the Recommended value is and how it compares to Currently allocated. If the recommended is less then click Automatically manage paging file size for all drives>Custom Size, then enter the Recommended value into the Initial Size box, and a larger figure in the Maximum box. Click OK and you’re good to go.

    >>>>The ultimate speed-up technique is to reinstall Windows. This removes all unwanted software that slows down the PC, erases adware and other malware, clears out junk files and so on.

Hi. It's using intelcore i5-7200u 2.5GHz. 4gb ddr4 memory. 1000gb hdd. Windows 10. I disabled some applications on startup and uninstall 3rd parties apps.
    Hi,
In addition to @Sharanji suggestions, increase the memory to 8GB and try to get a SSD for your OS as the 1TB spinner drive is the bottleneck.

    Hi,
Could you please tell us about the memory and the HDD in your laptop, do you have a spinner HDD? How much RAM is installed?
