System working well with Win10 installed until I did a replacement of the original 500gb HDD with a Samsung SSD 500gb and utilised the Samsung migration software. While disassembling, I impatiently forced the top panel to separate at the right hinge side when laptop was turned face up and found I had unknowingly not  removed one retaining screw at that point.
The laptop booted after a successful migration. All programmes ran flawlessly.

Then I detected a few faults:
1). Laptop not charging when connected to mains (battery level now at 25%)
2). Trackpad not working
3). Sound/audio not working

Any techy to help out? I am in Hatfield area (AL10-0QL)

Do you have the original HDD to put back in order to determine if the Samsung SSD is or is not the issue? Jack E/NJ
