Seriously blown away by this. Predator 21x - 102 of 300...week old. Just decided it didn't want to boot.
Push the power button and the Iron Man fan comes on, keyword lights up and then it just shuts back down. No monitor image, nothing.

I'm pretty ***** that a $9,000 laptop only lasts a week before having problems like this.

Does this occur when connected to the AC adapter or on battery only. You can try pluggin in both chargers if you haven't tried it yet and see if that will have an effect.

Try resetting the battery, which may help. If it doesn't help you should contact Acer in your region.

    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

I had to push a pin into the hole on the bottom to reset the battery and it booted.
    Still don't understand why though.

Sometimes there is a static charge that is building up in the components, which can cause bugs, unexpected shutdowns or not being able to boot up. Resetting the battery allows the charge that has built up to discharge, which fixes the issues associated with it.
