Just received Acer recertified laptop with a few issues...

I got my Acer VN-539G from Acer Recertified, and everything seems pretty good.  Upon a close inspection of the unit, I can see it was dropped on the left hinge and there is, occasionally, a vertical bar graphics glitch on POST which covers the right 20% of the screen.

The unit feels solid, it may have been repaired to fix any real damage and the cosmetically flawed pieces we simply reused.  I got a really good deal on it, so I can overlook the cosmetic damage if I can be assured the drop did not negatively affect the internals.  Everything, but the fans are solid state, and I have been using the laptop all day to ensure functionality.

Has anyone else purchased from Acer Recertified and gotten a less than flawless unit?  How was your experience?  Did any of the observable damage have any negative effect over the life of the unit?

Thanks,
Bob
