Hey all,

I've had this Acer G276hl UM.HG6AA.D03 since 2012 and had no issues with it until today. Basically, when the HDMI>DVI plug is plugged into the HDMI in the PC to the DVI input of my monitor, it displays "No Signal" which has never happened before. I tried using it on my Macbook and I still get the "No Signal" message. I didn't mess with the monitor settings nor the video settings, this simply started happening out of the blue.

The PC and Macbook work well with other monitors and TVs I tested it with, seems to be just an issue with this particular monitor.

Strangely enough, the VGA works fine. When I plug an SNES Mini with the same HDMI>DVI cord the monitor works. It just seems to be having an issue with computers plugged into it.

Other things to note: Just before the "No Signal" message, it worked with my PC but would only display 800x600 within windows. The monitor wouldn't turn on during boot, but came on when it got to the Windows 10 login screen. When I reinstalled video drivers while troubleshooting, the "No Signal" message was permanent, even when setting the monitor back to 800x600. When I load Windows 10 into safe mode - low resolution, I get "Input Not Supported."

Things I tried: Unpugging the monitor and holding the power button for 30 seconds - Doesn't seem to work.

Any ideas?

A quick update... After troubleshooting a few cords with my PC, using the original HDMI>DVI cord started working again after unplugging and plugging in a few times. However, it's stuck in 800x600. Windows says my native resolution is 1024x768 (which it's not, it's 1920x1080), but changing the screen to 1024x768 yields the dreaded "No Signal" message.

This is so weird that it works with my SNES Mini at 720 just fine, but my computer and Macbook can't get the thing to go above 800x600? What is the deal with this thing?

Could you please try connecting to monitor directly (without the HDMI>DVI convertor)  to any device that has a DVI port so that we can isolate the issue?
