The HD Graphics 3000 has no dedicated memory but shares the Level 3 / LLC Cache with the CPU cores and also part of the main memory. Due to TurboBoost, the GPU can be overclocked depending on the current CPU load and power consumption. The base speed and the turbo boost speed of the HD Graphics 3000 depend on the processor.

You should be careful while allocating virtual memory to your graphics. You should set the memory according to your RAM. Like if you have 4GB of RAM, you can set the virtual memory to 512 MB.

To check how much dedicated memory your Intel is running on, press Windows + R to bring up the Run application. In the dialogue box, type “ms-settings:”. This will launch your computer’s settings application.
