Chromebook will not recognize recovery USB -- tried three different ones

    When I press tab and get the error messages, the first one is "recovery_ reason 0x5a No bootable storage device in system"; the second line is:  "UbSD flage: 0x00000c40    Just tried again with recovery USB created on another Chromebook, no luck.  Wondering if it is a battery problem as blue power light goes out immediately when unplugged.  I can't take battery out as that will void the warranty.

    Those errors suggest that the internal SSD drive has failed. Click the ACER service link at the bottom of this page and arrange for warranty repairs. Jack E/NJ
