Hi everyboby,
First thanks to read this and second please forget my poor english, i'm just french.

I work on a Aspire E15 ES1-512 for 3 years now, which till give me good feelings.

But, just yesterday, there is no more USB device recognised or detected. My husband just took a look but unsucessfully.

So,before windows is booting, i briefly can see my filar USBMouse shine as usual. As soon as the w7 boot start, the mouse stop working ;as i ever told no usb port work no more.
Obviously, i did nothing at all, just stoped laptop yesterday and start it as usual today. No travel, no new program or device, no new DL. Bitdefender as nurse.

I tried to restore windows 5times, each time at different "point of restore" (dont know if it's understandable)

With command devmnmt.msc i've been surprised by yellowcard at (sry it's french) "concentrateur racine USB xHCl" saying "drivers cant be loaded  : code 39...."
The ID stuff is :
USB\ROOT_HUB30&VID8086&PID0F35&REV000E
USB\ROOT_HUB30&VID8086&PID0F35
USB\ROOT_HUB30

I ever tried some things :

uninstall it and reboot : not working, same problem
update drivers : not working
restrore previous days : not working
searching any solutions here : nothing

I just biologist, not informatician, and i'm not able to do anything more by myself... as i told, USBmouse seems to be alive at bios-start-time but not more...

PLEASEEEEEEEEEE, that's making me crazygirl, i have a ppt to use soon and without USB... HARD ^^

Thanks a lot,
Julie

Did you make a restore SD card back up?  If you did - install it in the laptop and adjust the bios to see that usb chip\mem stick..

    Hope it helps:)
