Hi guys,

My current bluetooth mouse keeps disconnecting. I tried to fix it for a while, but I gave up.
Now I want to buy a new one. Can anyone recommend a working bluetooth mouse for Spin 7?

Cheers

Please let us know the full model number of your Spin device.
What exactly happens when you try to use the bluetooth mouse? Do you get any error messages?
Have you recently installed any windows updates?
Have you tried refreshing the bluetooth driver and settings?

You can check in Acer store to purchase a new bluetooth mouse

    The full model is SP714-51.

There are no BT mice in the Acer store.

My bluetooth mouse works, but it disconnects every 1-2 minutes. I have to move it a while so it will reconnect.
Other bluetooth devices work properly (headphones and phone).
I had everything up to date, then even reinstalled windows from scratch, but it didn't solve the problem.
I have tried all the alternatives you can find on google.

I suspect the mouse itself is shutting down to conserve the battery. Might check the mfr's website for a way to turn off the saver.

It is not the mouse, since it works perfectly on other computers.

Google "disable bluetooth power management" "mouse" with the quotes and try the suggestions in the first link. Jack E/NJ

I already tried all of those suggestions. I have spent many hours trying to solve it and I am an experienced user.
That's why I gave up and decided to buy another mouse (if someone can recommend one that works for the Spin 7).

    It's a no-brand mouse (ebay.com/itm/122781287068?ViewItem=&item=122781287068). They say it's Bluetooth 3.0, Frequency:2402-2480MHZ

Looks OK. Older Amazon reviews of no-names with the BL-6P battery didn't mention any timeout issues at least with earlier WinVers. Please let us know how the other mouse works and its brand. Jack E/NJ

That's the reverse of my question. I want to buy a new mouse, but I'd like for someone to recommend one that works with Spin 7.

I have no recommendations. Others may chime in. I wouldn't hold my breath though. Jack E/NJ
