hello I was thinking of getting the msi radeon r7 250 2gb gpu for my acer aspire tc 115, i know this is an older pc but it has an up-to-date bios. its just that i don't want any problems with it.
I bought the Yeston version of this but it does not work, I found out that the power supply is different from the normal r7 250 and is set to China's standards. my computer does not support that that type of power supply.

Your computer came with either a 200W or 300W supply. The video card needs 48W, or as much as a quarter of what's available. I suggest you replace the stock power supply with a 350-500W size before putting the card in. You have the GPU slot and it's x16 so everything should work fine.

I'm not sure what you mean by the power supply is set to China standards. Most, if not all, ATX supplies either have a switch to go between 120V and 240V or they do that automatically.

thank you this helped, the gpu i found demands power through only the mobo, no power supply to the gpu in other ways, what i mean is it demands it through the slot in more volts then the typical r7 250.. i will just get a gaming pc. the processor on the mobo  is to slow for modern gaming.
