Model No. MS2139
Running Windows 7 Home Premium

Okay, so I have been trying to get this game to run in fullscreen, but when I do that the only options available in the actual game is the native 1366x768 resolution. I read online that using this program called CRU will help you edit the EDID, all that it shows on the "Detailed resolutions" is the 1366x768 and the timings seem a lot different than the generic LCD-Native, Standard, or Reduced options. So, when I tried to input the resolution at which I am trying to use 1024x600 it goes black and will not display anything past the Windows boot logo. I even tried duplicating the timings from the 1366x768 and adjusted the clocks so that it is 60Hz, assuming that was what it was but same deal.

I can run it in Windowed Fullscreen mode, but I have to adjust the desktop resolution via Windows to achieve that resolution. So, I guess what I am wondering is if anyone knows if there are drivers for this monitor, timings, or proper EDID settings that will achieve this. I have searched the Hardware Id and Device Ids and found drivers from Lenovo, LG, and Windows; however, the Windows one are for the Generic PnP and is already currently installed.

Any help or actual knowledge of the OEM monitor used on this device would be appreciated! We all know running Windowed Fullscreen lowers FPS, due to Windows not dedicating as many resources to the program.

The graphics adapter does not support that resolution. Jack E/NJ

Hmmm... well, that's strange the way that Windows has set their generic EDID then, because 1024x600 works when set via Windows; however, not when set by the EDID.

Are the timings the same as a Standard LCD, Reduced, or Native? Because none of those generic timings that CRU wants to set for any of these seems to work at all and apparently this game will only utilize what the "Detailed Resolution" settings say in the EDID.

I mean... yeah, I am just wanting to know the timings for each of these resolutions, because I can get better FPS with this resolution; however, I can not manually set it in the EDID with any of the generic defaults and the timings for 1366x768 do not work. So there is no driver or EDID anywhere on Acer or the Internet that will allow all resolutions to be set in the EDID?
