Hey there. I have recently bought an Acer Swift (SF315-51G-82N8) and have noticed, that everytime i plug the computer to power, the fan turns on. It's pretty annoying. Is this something "normal" or is this a known problem? I've tried to search around, but havn't come up with any discussions or solutions to this problem.

Go to power options>change plan settings>change advanced power settings>processor power management>system cooling policy>plugged in set it to passive and now your fans won't spin unless the temperature rises.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
