I am new here. Glad to join the community!

There’s a Microsoft Access 2016 document that I’ve been working on for a month, most of which was written on Acer Aspire 5 A515-51 Laptop PC on Windows 8. However, after the Windows 10 update, I suddenly can’t open it anymore. It gives the following message, 'You do not have the necessary permissions to use the 'FileName.mdb' object. Have your system administrator or the person who created the object establish the appropriate permissions for you'. May I know has anyone got this error?

Appreciate any help here!

So is this an MDB file and it would appear that it has User Level Security set.  You would need to open it using a shortcut with the MDW (security file) in its path.
