Hi there,

I have an Aspire VN7-592G and now plan to connect two monitors to it. Since I only have one HDMI, I thought of using the USB C port to connect a dock, which then connects to the two displays.

Now my questions:
  1. Does the USB C port support two displays?
  2. If not: Can I use the USB C + my HDMI at the same time to get two displays working?
  3. Can I charge my laptop with the USB C port?
Thank you very much!

Might be simpler & cheaper to buy a 1 in 2 out HDMI adapter for less than $50 with free shipping. Jack E/NJ PS: One of the 2 USB ports on either side of the USB C, supports power-off charging.

I don't want to display the same output on both displays, but instead, use them as separate displays.

Sorry, I see only support for two, not three, independent displays by the graphics adapters. However, one of the two USB 3 ports does support power-off charging. Jack E/NJ
