Hi,

We have a classroom of the new travelmate Spin B118-RN and lately the laptops haven't been able to turn on after being on charge.  We have so far performed a pin-hole battery reset to fix the problem and it always fixes the issue.  However as these laptop are barely a month old and resetting the battery all the time isn't ideal.  Is there a reason this could be happening or a way to fix this issue.  We have also had this issue with the Aspire R7-372T.

Thanks

My first thought is that the device is not shutting down properly or that fast startup is hanging. First I would probably try turning off hibernation which also removes fast startup. Open a DOS BOX (cmd.exe) as Administrator and run powercfg.exe /hibernate off
