It seems that some g9-793s come without a G-sync panel.

About the light bleeding, it is considered normal for IPS displays. Depending on the amount of bleed, you can send the laptop to Acer and have your screen replaced, but it is not guaranteed that the new display to have less light bleeding.

About not being able to change the brightness, I suggest you to uninstall the graphics driver and install the newest driver from Nvidia's website.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

It's likely software related and certainly nothing to do with the internal display not supporting G-Sync.

The nvidia driver, as I suggested in my previous post, uninstall the graphics driver and install the newest version from nvidia.com.

As was suggested graphics driver, if that doesn't work it's likely an issue in the OS.  Frequently this is where your backups come into play, saving both time and effort.

The windows key is stored in the motherboard, so it will be activated automatically.

Use the recovery option built into the system by Acer, seems the easiest solution to me.

Look for Acer in the Start Menu or Acer Care Centre from the notifications, select Recovery Management, follow instructions.
